About Us

Leader Street School of Music has specialised in music lessons in Adelaide since 1979 when founder/director Greg Hart opened the first school in the West End of Adelaide city at the John Reynolds Music City building.

Students in our school range from age 7 to over 80 years of age. We teach beginners, intermediate, and advanced musicians. Our music instructors bring a wealth of teaching experience to the educational experience.

We are proud to have some of the best music teachers in Australia on our faculty.

Our mission is to bring affordable private music lessons for kids and adults from beginner to advanced in Adelaide.

We offer personalised one-on-one music lessons at our music school conveniently located in Leader Street, Forestville.

Leader Street School of Music helps guide and foster students in a range of different musical styles including: classical, pop, rock, jazz, funk, disco, and musical theatre.

We prepare students for university and conservatory entrance auditions, music school exams, recitals, and theatre plays.
