chef bob waggoner has played a lead role in defining charleston’s amazing culinary scene.  fusing lowcountry cooking and his own french-influenced technique, chef bob creates contemporary new southern cuisine using seasonal and regional ingredients, and has captured critical acclaim by producing menus that combine unusual ingredients with classic techniques.

now chef bob is moving on from the restaurant world, but he is certainly not leaving the kitchen!  drawing from the wealth of artisans in the lowcountry, from woodworkers to artists and cabinet makers, chef bob has created a stunning showcase kitchen in downtown charleston with wood floors, a u-shaped quartz countertop, wine cellar, and even a grand player piano (click on partners to learn more).  despite the sophisticated surroundings, chef bob’s cooking classes are relaxed and casual, and with his easygoing nature he can teach anyone the culinary tips and techniques for “how it’s done” in the finest restaurants.
